EDC helped to bring a unique UX experience to this years Nike Air Max day in Shanghai.

March 26th, 2014 marks the 20th anniversary when Nike first introduced the now iconic Air Max sneaker.

Along with visual artist Chromaphase and director Charles Lanceplaine, we created an all immersive interactive audio visual experience within a giant Nike Shoe Box !

The UX design incorporated a combination of visual installations, motion graphics, LED, Infra-red lighting, and music and sound design ; all being triggered at will by the user.

As an added bonus to the experience we also had original music composed for each individual Nike Air Max shoe on display within the installation – music by the Exquisite Delegates

If that wasn’t enough of a sensory over-load; Nike also flew out iconic shoe customizer SBTG (Mark Ong) to do some ill customizing for a lucky few on the spot.

The results and feedback have been amazing, we had record likes on HypeBeast

“Wear Your Air” people.
